Here is a list of some of the Products that we use to repair your foundation and/or leaking problem.
Epoxy
The epoxy that we use is a 100% reactive, low viscosity, two-component epoxy, formulated specially for concrete injection. The epoxy compound with high bond strength can be used to restore the structural properties of; concrete when repairing or filling cracks, delimited areas, and other horizontal or vertical concrete failures. This product is in compliance with ASTM International (formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials) ASTM D-638 and ASTM D-695.
Polyurethane
The polyurethane that we use is a low-toxicity, two-component, 100% solid, polyurethane foam. It will displace and stop flowing water, forming a tough flexible foam, firmly bonded to the concrete surface. It can be used to stop water under a hydrostatic head and provide a resilient tough and flexible, closed cell polyurethane grout. The advantage of using polyurethane is that it offers a final cured product as a non-toxic rubber foam. It is flexible and easy to use and has a high bond strength even to damp surfaces. It is in compliance with the Ministry of Transport Quebec.
Sump Pump and Sump Pump Pits
The sump pumps that we use are built with an automatic non-clogging engineered vortex impeller design, which passes 1/2″ solids (sphere) and has a 1 – 1/2″ discharge. The stainless steel screws and switch arm assembly comes in a cast switch case, with a motor and pump housing, and a powder coated epoxy finish that guarantees a tough operating pump. The sump pump pits (or basin) are manufactured of durable thermoplastic construction and we perforate the walls to allow water to easily access the pit.
Waterproofing Membrane
The waterproofing membrane that we use is a one-component moisture-curing, elastomeric waterproofing membrane for exterior below-grade applications. It will protect concrete structures from water penetration and permits expansion and contraction, which is suitable for our climate. Seamless cold-applied membrane eliminates lapping, seaming and pre cutting. The membrane requires no hot-melt equipment because it is formulated for application by trowel to vertical surfaces. This product is in compliance with ASTM International (ASTM C 836) and the NSC 37.58 – M86 developed by the Canadian General Standards Board.
Cement and Parging
The cement we use is a high-performance, non-shrink, fluid, cementitious grout, with silica fume and a unique, two-stage shrinkage compensating mechanism. This compensates for shrinkage in both the plastic and the hardened states. It is non-metallic, contains no chlorides, and it may be placed at various consistencies ranging from flowable to liquid form by simply adjusting the quantity of mix water/latex. It can be applied on grade, above and below grade, interior and exterior applications. It meets ASTM C 1107 Grade C type grouts, H. A. Simons grout specification 1S-05-01 for grout types 1, 2a, 2b, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and is in compliance with the Ministry of Transport Quebec.
Interior/Exterior French Drain
Both our interior and exterior french drains are made of a flexible 4″ perforated pipe.
